Selection Process
CET Merit → PMT → PST → Knowledge Test → Final Merit
PMT and PST are qualifying stages. Candidates can be shortlisted up to 10 times the number of advertised vacancies for the Knowledge Test.
Knowledge Test — The Most Important Stage
The Knowledge Test carries 97% weightage, making it the major deciding stage in the recruitment.
Candidates with NCC certificates can receive additional marks:
- NCC A Certificate: +1 mark
- NCC B Certificate: +2 marks
- NCC C Certificate: +3 marks
Knowledge Test syllabus includes:
- General Studies
- General Science
- Current Affairs
- General Reasoning
- Mental Aptitude
- Numerical Ability
- Agriculture
- Animal Husbandry
- Other relevant fields/trades
- At least 10% questions from Computer
- At least 20% questions related to Haryana
The level of the paper will be based on the standard expected of a 10+2 qualified candidate.
Exam Pattern
- Objective-type MCQs
- Hindi & English bilingual
- Offline OMR-based examination
- All questions are compulsory.
- No negative marking for a wrong answer.
- However, an unattempted question requires marking the 5th bubble. If the 5th bubble is not marked, 0.97 marks will be deducted for that question.
Minimum marks in Knowledge Test:
- General Category: 50%
- Reserved Category: 40%
Important for Aspirants
This recruitment is not primarily decided by the physical tests. PMT and PST are qualifying stages, whereas the Knowledge Test carries 97% weightage. Therefore, strong preparation for Haryana GK, General Studies, Current Affairs, Reasoning, Maths, Computer and other prescribed subjects is crucial.
Important: Candidates who had previously applied under Advertisement No. 14/2024 must apply afresh for Advertisement No. 01/2026.
